Incoming Block

This is a block that is seen only by the administrator. It advises of items that are pending and need attention, such as news stories, links and other submissions awaiting approval to be posted. Clicking on the items leads directly to them..

Once all items have been attended to, the block disappears. Not all third party modules make use of this feature although they should. It makes it so much easier for the admin to have only one place to check for submissions to be reviewed.

We suggest this block be placed at the upper left so as to prevent needless scrolling or being overlooked by the admin by appearing too low on the page.
