Can someone help me create a drop down menu like the one seen on the main page here. I am using active theme but I dont know how I can use that for making drop down menu from the top . ANy help would be greatly apreciated.

With active theme how do you make it appear ont he top of the page near the heading. I know how to do using block which I can only put in the laft and right. thanks for the reply.

No, no need to create a block. AT theme work as normal html file, just embedd the script to your theme.html file or any template you want for the dropdown menu will appear.
