Post subject: new demo site for oscommerce

www.ren-mai.com

the admin account for osc is: shopadmin/shopadmin

We would like you can give some feedback for it.

the features description:
- base on pnRender
- templated the front pages
- can change the theme of osc
- can change the theme of each category
- custom the attributes of each category
- discount
- products download and upload
- can add a product includes another sub-product

maybe will add EasyPopulate into current version
EasyPopulate is a very powerful B2B tool for upload and download..

For me it works well with Firefox 1.04 too. The demoserver is very slow (but this is not important for testing). I could login and serve over the whole administration.
Very good solution and seems to be running as a MDPro module at all.

@huaboy2k:
What we need now is a ZIP (or TAR) package to test it with other installations and themes.
We can call it an alpha release and publish it only for some developers (beta testers).

Thx for this great hack Wink

After logging in with either Firefox 1.04 or Netscape 7.2 , I get a blank page. With Opera 8 I get the MDP blocks on the left and gibberish in the center block.

I may have found the cause. You used pnRender (pity that) and I don't have it installed.

very magical..
because I set the osc as the start page of mdpro,
yes after loged in,I got a blanck page with Mozilla,
then I type the url such as www.ren-mai.com/admin.php in the same browser,
the admin page shows correctly,
I tried to delete the cookie data in the Cookie Manager of Mozilla,
the index page shows ok.
why? so I am sure it is problem with the cookie!
I am trying to find the cause.

yes,we would be glad if you can help us to test, thanks.

If I disable the cookie for the site with Mozilla, the index page shows but sure cant log in,
but I tested on local,I shouldn't disable the cookie at all....

Again. I have no problems to login and click on all admin parts of osc. But as I remember we have same problems with MDPro and Firefox with normal user login also. Clicking on refresh-button will solve sometimes this hangup.
The problem can maybe found in local Firefox caching, Proxy or Firewall settings.
I'm using:
- Firefox 1.04 on Windows 2000
- Squit Proxy
- Zone Alarm Security Suite

I don't know if this helps. But I think it would be better if we can get this osc version as a package to test it also on our own installations.
