This is a module version of Gallery written to support MD-Pro (And possibly PostNuke). The key thing to this is that it has total support for skins and Themes. And each theme will auto load a matching skin once it is configured. You can do transparent skins as well as windowed skins. This is fork (md2) based on Gallery v1.5. Make sure you read our documentation on the module to do the install or you will never get it to work right.
Features we have added above the model you will find in the normal gallery
* Live Support
* Full Skin support in MDPro/!PostNuke.
* Skin is able to change with the theme.
* Fixed possible bug in the security scheme.
* Converter to convert "screen.css" files to be used as embedded_style.css files.
* Themes can run as is in their centerblock, or you can use our hack directions to make them integrate with the site better using a transparent or no background.
* In the "My Account" area a "My Photos" icon will show up if one of the galleries is renamed after the logged in user. The "My Photos" icon will jump him to that gallery.
You can post a news story about it from the main front page at MAXdev.com. Follow the submit news link in the middle of the header
I've just downloaded it now, I'll have a play later. Cheers for the hard work

I outlined most of the hacks right on the site. But you can grep the code for "D$M" as well to see what we did. My understanding of CSS is limited to what I needed to know to get this working. So the ScreenToEmbedded script is still a bit beta. But give it a shot and let me know how it works for you. I am anxious to hear if any one can actually use this mess I made.

Thanks for all your efforts. Just last week I was upgrading to the latest gallery version and also testing gallery 2 (g2) for the first time. Gallery 2 is even more impressive but it seems that it doesn't fit into a CMS as well as gallery 1x. I'll test your module later in the week.

Yea I had tested the G2 and found it was not as stable as I liked and could not for the life of me get it work right embedded. If figured it would be smarter and easier to do it to the 1.5 version. When G2 is stable, if it does not support skins in modules perhaps I will look at that too.
Gallery 2 is in the release candidate stage and apparently it's a matter of "weeks" before the first stable release.
Has anyone here looked at an integrating it yet with MD-Pro?
