Post subject: AutoTheme .851 - Upgrading

Sjah

Just installed mdcnl121 on a test site. All looked OK until I uploaded AutoTheme .851

Opps - the Cnl-MD theme was shot. SETTINGS/MODULES/Regenerate/Upgrade and Activate - AT .851 Same result - uploading the Cnl distrib copy of autotheme.cfg didn't help either.

I had to rollback to AutoTheme .81 to get the site back

Following the normal module upgrade steps didn't work. What is the process for upgrading this module? Or will AT .851 not work with Channels?

David

Stick with the supplied version, I still know of quite a few bugs not yet resolved with the newer versions of AutoTheme + MD-Pro

Yep, after that attempt I think I'll leave it alone for now. Haven't had, or as yet had, any problems with AutoTheme .851 and MD-Pro 1.075. <fingers crossed>
Maybe I've been lucky so far.

Hi there, just noticed this thread.

Pete, when you say it's best to stick with the supplied version of Autotheme , it was before all this announcing about autotheme 1.77 on the homepage. We tried .851 and 1.77 (we have .81, like dpottier mentioned and are using MD-Pro v1.076), and both of them broke some of our modules, and failed to load any module-specific theme/style settings. Especially for MDForum.

is this expected?

EDIT:
nevermind. just read the other threads you have been posting in.

I can't comment about 1.77 as I haven't tested it yet, but if there are any bugs with the commercial version I'm sure that Shawn is working hard to resolve them before releasing a new lite GPL version
