Post subject: ads on websites

You go to all these big corporate sites, everyone has ads on them. Sometimes they even take up most of the page, with very little content except a small strip of text. Then you go to a site that is clean of ads, except on the outside borders, and you say something like gee, where are all the ads? Sometimes not having ads kinda makes your pages look empty. Then I relize that over the years we get used to seeing websites full of ads and very little real content. I just get agrevated having to read around ads, ads and more ads.

I use firefox with adblock, and sometimes opera and IE with privoxy, spybot, and what not filtering. I rarely see an add. And when I do, I add it to my block list. It is so much easier on the eyes!
