Post subject: A site I would like you to look at

Hey everyone
Could you look at this site and tell me what you think?
I have set it up for a friend. It is the first store I have set up. I would like to intergrate the two into one but I am still learning. I am using MDPro 1.0.76 and osCommerce as the actual store.
If any one has any suggestions please help.
I have also started setting up an ebay store and will soon have a gallery to show pictures from the Holy Land.
If I can intergrate all of it I would be extremely pleased.
I can have ebay and osCommerce intergrated but as far as I know not with MDPro. I can intergrate MDPro with gallery but not the rest as far as I know.
So any help would be great with that.
Please any help on the design would be great as well.
I know I am asking alot but I trust you all for help.
Thanks here is the site: http://www.holylandtreasuresonline.com

eddieburroughs,

There was an integration of MDP and osCommerce here somewhere -- but I guess its been dead for a while now. You can still find the links from the forum here. Just do a search with "osCommerce" - you should be able to find it than.

Or, you can use pnCommerce - which intgregrates with MDP well - which you can download it from the download section here.

Menalto gallery has been integrated by TiMax. You can find that in the download section also.

The links for the osCommerce site is down or dead. see below link

I looked at pnCommerce
http://www.maxdev.com/MDForum-viewtopic ... erce.phtml
my concern is that it may not always be compatable with MDPro
What I like about osCommerce is that I can have it compatible with my ebay store. I can live with multiple sites and them not working together but would be nice if they did work together.
Thanks for the input!

The pics took a while to load, and I am on a T1. Might I suggest resizing your images instead of the software resizing them for you. 08.jpg is really 350 X 350 pixels, is the commerce software resizing the pic to 100 X 80???

~Kev~ yes the pics are 350 X 350. I thought that would be a good preview size. the osCommerce software resizes them for the thumbnail view so that when you click on the picture you get the actual 350X350 size photo.
I didn't think about the load speed. Thank you for that bit of information. Any suggestions on the how to keep a good size for previewing it and yet speed up the load time?
Thank You this is good!

Post subject: pics

I dont know about increasing the preview speed. When I went to the site, the review pics loaded very slow even for a T1, I wonder what they would be like for dial up? So does anyone here use dial up that can go to the site and see how long the pics take to load?? What commerce module did you use?? I have 2 sites I would like to add an online store to.
