Please state your question or comment as accurately as possible
You help people who might help you by stating your problem without them having to open your message to see what it is. Some won't bother making that effort if you won't take the time to state your problem or question clearly. Also, you help other people who scan subjects looking for answers. For that reason, your subject line may be edited for clarity if it is vague, but it is much better if you eliminate the need to do so by stating it properly on your own. All people helping you, staff or other users, are volunteers. Honor their time and assistance. Help them by making it easy for them to help you.
This is why your subject was changed from Show me the link please...

I've come to better understand some of the reasons there are generally no fixed timetables for releases of opensource software and why projected release dates are frequently missed.
Of course, the primary reason is that OSS is a volunteer effort and that things happen to developers and projects, from illness and marriage to even death. PostNuke lost one of their main guys (Adam Baum) in a motorcycle accident a few years back. Our former lead developer was extremely ill and had a long hospital stay last year. He only recently was released and is active with us once again. Let us not forget vacations and just taking a rest from coding.
“Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans” John Lennon
Illness, death, marriages and accidents aside, there are many other reasons for delays. Developers discover better ways of doing something and recode to make use of their discovery. One new idea after another makes for a better program but it also delays finishing a program. This includes feature implementation. Some features are tougher to implement than others and thus take more time. Sometimes the addition of a new feature affects nearly the whole program. This would be true I imagine of hookable modules. Hooks would have to be coded into every module that would make use of them.
Back when 1.06 was the current release and 1.07 was about to debut, there was a demo site for 1.1. It has long since been taken down as the 1.1 release planned for the future is probably nothing like the old program on that demo site. It will be infinitely better. Things change (some of them, some don't).
PN's .8 release has long been considered mythic as it has been years in the making,. This is partly because most of their developers left years ago to start Xaraya, which initially was a development of their .8 code though it has since been entirely replaced in their 1.x series One primary developer left makes for slow development. That's another reason for delays.
There are a bunch more reasons and doubtless some I'm unaware of (I'm not a programmer) and my years of using OSS have taught me why patience is necessary. We've made the mistake here of having projected released dates, though they were usually couched with terms such as "may, perhaps, maybe, hope to, etc." We've learned to be very cautious though about release dates even under those terms.
One thing I can say with certaintly, both MDLite and 1.1 will be worth the wait.

Actually I was reading an old news article from last year and it just happened to be the day before Febuary 1, 2006 and not Febuary 1, 2005 but I did not notice the 2005 in the post so I thought the post applied to the present when in fact it applied to the past. I apologize in retrospect for any lost time this may have caused.

There's no need to apologize, and thank you anyway. While most of our users have come to understand reasons for there being no timetables on releases, it's good to mention some of those reasons on occasion and inform newer MDPro users. I will say that, in general, features are added up to a point when the developers decide to add nothing else new and just perfect what has already been added. This applies to any OSS (open source software) project in general and not just MDPro. I've seen this referred to as freezing the features. I don't think MDLite has reached that point yet though I think it is getting close.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. MDLite will be released when it's ready, simple as that.
