A member of my forum noticed that people's real email addresses are showing up in the MDForum profile area, even if they've changed their information in "My Account" to show a fake email address. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable this. I noticed this on MDForum 2.01, but it probably still exists with the MDLite versions, although I haven't had a chance to check it yet. Anyone have a workaround?

and if you activate email via MDForum in MDForum administration ?

If I activate that, it works, and says that "This user doesn't wish to recieve email. Please send a PM instead". Why is it showing addresses when it is disabled, though?

If when the user joined they set their email address to public, or if you're an administrator you'll be able to see the correct email address. Try creating a dummy normal user and they shouldn't be able to see the email address
