Post subject: Automatic translation for MDForum
This hack adds a "Translate" button to every post in MDForum that will replace the post text by an automatically translated one (using popular web translation services). Automatic translations aren't perfect, but they help getting the grasp of what's being said and somewhat break the language barrier.
Currently tested for MDPro 1.076 and MDForum 2.0.1, will probably work with MDLite. Currently supported: Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.
Requires: Afina PowerPack 1.1, curl extension for PHP, PEAR Text_LanguageDetect (step-by-step install instructions in the module readme).
Inside the compressed archive, you'll find a mdf-translator.txt file. Follow its instructions to install it and apply the hack. You'll also find a modules directory which you should copy into your portal root to add the MDForumEx module you need for this to work. (Remember to go to modules administration, regenerate modules, and activate it.)
