I cannot however get any defined banners to show up, even though I've verified in the database that my banners are of the correct type. I also noticed that the AutoTheme commands allow [banners-type1] through [banners-type99] by default. However, standard banners are by default ID Type 0, which would require a [banners-type0] command, so I tried adding it the the AutoTheme commands include and using [banners-type0] instead of 1, which shows is for Block type banners through Banner admin, rather than Standard.
Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong. I just want to get a simple banner to show up...
Cheers!

1. Be sure you turned on banners in bannrs config (disableb by default)
2. Banners type 0 can be dispalyed with <!-- [banners] --> directive, not <!-- [banners-type0] -->

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply...guess I missed the [banners] directive somewhere.

so if I'm write I have to insert call to banners in theme.html of the theme I am using ? Is it the code that you have provided aboove that I must use ?
I did a copy / paste of it in themel.html but the banners do no show up.
