Post subject: Best Practices for Maintenance

Can someone kindly share some tips on what I should be doing to take down the site when I want to do major changes.

- Are there ways to log everyone off the site?

- What is the best way to change my landing page index.php to a generic “temp offline” page?

Anything else that may be useful please share. I’m new to having a site and would love to learn some best practices from you all.

Thanks.

In autorender administration page, under "extras" you'll find the "maintenance mode" option.
