Post subject: A few newbie questions

Hey all,

Thanks in advance for your help. I am trying to develop my site and I need to know a couple things.

1) How do I set it so that when I post an article or news item it does NOT say Gardiners1_writes... at the beginning of the item?

2) How do i change the font size on my articles? I change it when I am writing the article but it still appears the same size on the actual site.

3) Can I set my site so that there is no user log in notification at the top? Like Welcome Gardiners1?

Thanks.

Scott

You can modify the settings from theme template files. Take a look at the theme folder Cnl-Lite:

- themes\Cnl-Lite\news-article.html => settings of your Story Text field.
- themes\Cnl-Lite\news-summary.html => settings of your Story Text and Extended Text
- themes\Cnl-Lite\style\style.css => for fonts and other css styles

From the above files you can adjust the settings for your post.

For the layout templates, take a look at other files: theme_frontpage.html, theme_default.html etc.

hope this help.

Thank you for the response. It has helped somewhat but the beginning of my article still has my username. It used to say Gardiners 1 writes, now it just says Gardiners 1 and I want to get rid of that. ANy ideas?

Edit: Never mind, figured it out. Thank you for your help.
