Post subject: Tinymax ibrowser plugin not working on subdomain.

I have read every posting out there on this subject. What stumps me so far is why it refuses to work. Hopefully the answer is right in front of me.

I have a users home directory /home/user and it is linked to /var/www/html/www.user.site.com/user

I did two seperate install cases to try and narrow down where the problem is. The first I made a new install at www.site.com which worked fine.

Then I made another install where Tinymax had to reference www.user.site.com and it doesn't matter so far what I input for the TinyMax path values it just doesn't seem to work.

I have removed the module and reinstalled and reactivated it to no avail. I am starting to think that I require a code modification in how it is calling the base url.

My questions are... Does the code to make base url account for a subdomain? Also does everything need to be chown apache:apache to work?

It does upload the files to the /cache/tmp directory but it gives this error

phpThumb ( ) v1.6.3-200511261736
" " does not exist

So I don't see a list of files in the directory or the image. What could be the cause?

I have put this code in phpthumb.class.php as referenced at http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/punbb/view ... ?pid=11065

if ($this->sourceFilename=="" OR $this->sourceFilename==null) {$this->sourceFilename=$this->fixslashes($this->src);  }

It gets past the previous error now but gives

An error occurred handling
file upload. Please try again.

Make sure you change your password. From there you can have a look at the standard payload for the users home directory and website.

Hi eLGie, actually I'm using MDPro 10821 on a lot of sub domains, and I couldn't replicate the problem.

Yeah I moved beyond the traditional Multi-Site design on this project. I can now create websites for users on the fly. I selected this MDPro for each users payload. With the new reduced size of MDPro it was the obvious choice. I mean what is it something ridiculous like < 30 tables for the whole CMS out of the box. Must make for relaxing support - I'll bet you feel like the Maytag Repairman.

I seem to have found a solution to the image upload thing. Now I just have to bash it around some and it should be good to go.

I see you mentioned that you use MDPro 1.0821 now. It is not listed in the top right corner of the site. It should be.

I want to know if Current Stable MDPro Lite 1.082 Download was at least patched with security updates?

I think your problem is just related with path's, check them carefully

You can download last MDPro version here http://www.maxdev.com/mod-Areafiles-vie ... rt-0.phtml
