Post subject: Block Load Failed
We recently upgraded from 1.076 to 1.0821 and all went pretty much ok, we then added the Calendar Block, no probs there however when we now go to add another block we get the block load failed message. We removed the calendar block thinking it may be the problem but the error still remains.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Can you specify the name of the block?
Hi Skin,
We don't even get that far to select a block to load We go into Admin -> Settings -> Blocks and then click on add new block and that's where we get the error.

Try to see if some old bolock is still present and remove it;
you can also try to see error.log file, probably you'll find useful informations.

Hi Skin,
Tried all you suggested, still no go i'm afraid - the error log showed this which may or may not be connected "Cannot break/continue 1 level in /home/****/public_html/index.php on line 83"

Well we got it fixed, still don't know what the problem was though. I installed the database from our live site to a test server here at home and all worked ok, so it wasn't a problem with any of the database tables, so we just uploaded our test file structure and now all's good with the world
Cheers

but i have the problem, that the blocks are not displayed correctly! i become this error message:
The block type html doesn't seem to exist. Please check your modules/Blocks/blocks/ directory.
If i want do add a new block it dosen't work! there i get this Problem:
Block load failed
my permissons on the webspace are correct!!!!
Do you know this problem? could it be because by the installation there are two error messages:
Register Long Arrays off and
Magic Quotes off
musst one of this options be on???? or not????
could there be any other problem???
Try to upload again all files of MDPro in your remote space with an any FTP program.
Then, when posting a problem, you must always indicate all the necessary data:
- version MDPro
- version PHP/MySQL
- Link to yout site
- say if you work locally or remotely
