I think that you should really consider removing comment lines and blank lines at least in main configuration. That will really speed up this CMS
I have found many comment pages that you don't need and they only load more traffic and slowing down this CMS. There is really much comment lines that are not good for traffic and speed.

The comments don't have influence on the execution of a script, they are not parsed.

Our staff is actually working on a more powerful cache and on a faster AutoRender version, so probably in 1085 you'll see faster rendering times and better performance.
