Post subject: can't login to the admin area

Hello,
I have tried looking in these forums but could not find my exact problem (sorry if I over looked it)

I am currently trying to log into the admin area of MDPro version 1.821 but every time I login it brings me to a page saying

Not Found
The requested URL /folder/mdpro/& was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This message comes up after I put in my username and password and click "login"

In my address bar of my browser the page that trys to load is

/folder/mdpro/&%23116;&%23116;&%23112;&%23058;&%23047;&%23047;&%23100; &%23101;&%23109;&%23111;&%23111;&%23110;&%23100;&%23101;&%23109;&%2309 7;&%23110;&%23100;&%23046;&%23111;&%23112;&%23101;&%23110;&%23115;&%23 111;&%23117;&%23114;&%23099;&%23101;&%23099;&%23109;&%23115;&%23046;&% 23099;&%23111;&%23109;&%23047;&%23109;&%23101;&%23109;&%23098;&%23101; &%23114;&%23115;&%23047;&%23109;&%23097;&%23114;&%23107;&%23107;&%2310 5;&%23110;&%23103;&%23055;&%23057;&%23064;&%23103;&%23109;&%23097;&%23 105;&%23108;&%23046;&%23099;&%23111;&%23109;&%23047;&%23109;&%23100;&% 23112;&%23114;&%23111;&%23047;&%23105;&%23110;&%23100;&%23101;&%23120; &%23046;&%23112;&%23104;&%23112;&%23063;&%23109;&%23111;&%23100;&%2311 7;&%23108;&%23101;&%23061;&%23077;&%23068;&%23085;&%23115;&%23101;&%23 114;&%23115;&%23038;&%23102;&%23117;&%23110;&%23099;&%23061;&%23108;&% 23111;&%23103;&%23105;&%23110;

If I remove the first & in the URL then the page will load, but it will not log me in.

I have tried installing a fresh copy a few times, but no luck so far. I am using PHP 5.2.x and Apache 2.2 with CPanel. I also have fulll access to the server if something needs to be edited. I see in some posts on this forum that I might need to have register_long_arrays on. On my server, this opiton is turned on in php.ini

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can you give us more informations? Like a link to the site, some server's specifications and an possibly an error log.
