MDPro 1.080, alias MDLite, is ready :)

After a lot of work and a lot of time, finally MDLite, or better MDPro 1.080, is ready.  You should also be aware that development and support for MDPro 1.076 or previous version has stopped, as we will turn our full attention to preparing MDPro 1.085, evolution from this version with some suprises we plan to release soon, and MDPro 1.1 with new core.

Before beginning to use MDLite, please keep in mind that remove all files and re-install it if you have installed RC versions.

Another important note about MDLite is that MDLite represents a transitional development as we move toward producing MD 1.1 with a new core. As explained further below, we have rewritten a large amount of code, made it simple and easy to use, added documentation, optimized performance etc. With MDLite and MD 1.1 you will see that we have changed our philosophy and have focused on creating a small core to allow users to install ONLY the modules, blocks and addons they need. MDLite also introduces a new MD directory and files structure. This structure will continue to be improved upon in MD 1.1.

MDForum 2.05 beta 2 for MDLite, please use it only for test, we plan to release a new beta more stable in next days, this package include also private messages with attachements, youtube, Gvideo and video addons, new theme.cfg to reflect Cnl-lite theme colors.

In next days we plan to release new download module and calendar module for MDBoosters, new MDForum beta wtih new options and several fix's and sure MDLite final version :)

You can download MDForum 2.05 beta2 here , if you have installed previous beta, just delete all files

MDMods.com have released a further five templated Autorender modules for MDLite.

This brings the grand total of available modules to 19. Keep your eyes on MDMods for more MDLite treats ;)

To help us make the final release as soon as possible, please download it, use it, test it and report any bugs, and/or your comments and suggestions. You should also be aware that development of MDPro 1.076 has stopped, as we will turn our full attention to preparing MD 1.1. Any additional security fixes for MD 1.076 will only continue for a short time.

Before beginning to use MDLite, please keep in mind that this is an RC release. So please don't use it in an operational site. This release will allow you to install it for testing purposes and to discover its new features.
